The exhibitions in Chen Kuen Lee’s linked houses focus on organic construction – Lee was a central proponent of this method of construction. In 2016, 4a Architekten presented an exhibition at the gallery as the first contemporary architects due to their great affinity for organic construction. Together with the organiser Prof. Michael Koch, Prof. Klaus Jan Philipp and Ernst Ulrich Tillmanns will give an understanding of the subject of “Organic Construction” in a discussion with visitors to the opening. The current exhibition comprises a cross-section of architects whose work has been shown at the Galerie Sonnenbert over the past ten years.
