The master plan for the shoreline of a newly-built area in Vietnam’s popular tourist resort of Nha Trang includes the plan for a newly-built area. Beach and sports areas as well as wellness areas have been developed and a marina has been incorporated into the overall concept. The connecting axes between the newly-built area and the adjacent shoreline have been picked up on and the shoreline has been divided into the resulting sections. The architectural concept captures the local cultures, such as the myth of the water dragons, as well as landscape features. The terraced paddy fields and the interaction of the tides are reflected in the design of the paths and of the water, beach and island areas.
