The pine forest-covered terrain of the Walldorf bathing park suggests the image of a forest pool. The design concept provides for the "wrapping" of the entrance hall, the changing area, the sauna and the new indoor bathing area as a development around the existing indoor area. The main hall and the basement remain intact and are refurbished. The new water surfaces approach the lake to allow bathing with a view of the lake. The sauna on the upper floor offers attractive views into the forest, while its south-facing open area provides a sun terrace. A sauna extension with walkway and lake sauna creates an extremely attractive and quite special sauna quality. The timber-clad outer façade combines the new section and the old indoor bathing area into one ensemble, integrates the pool into the forest, and also allows it to enter into dialogue with the open-air pool building.
