The already very pleasant position of the existing outdoor pool forms the basis of the design. In this natural mountain landscape the new outdoor pool with a building similar to the artificial sports fields is added as a further feature. Across the forecourt the visitor reaches the centrepiece of the whole facility, a modern, self-contained building characterized by great transparency and lightness. The wooden-clad upper storey floats as a visible landmark above the existing topography. This timber construction is enclosed except for precisely positioned apertures.
