In order to improve the welcoming quality of the panorama pool, the adventure area was in need of redevelopment. In the course of these measures the bathing pool was redesigned, a new colour and material concept was devised and the room acoustics of the bathing hall were improved. The relaxation pool with its stream channel and newly created water jet island is surrounded by heated benches and seating alcoves in which to relax. The anthracite-coloured floor covering lends a modern, friendly ambience to the adventure area. The four adventure grottos – saltwater, fire, ice and steam grottos – are clad in coloured mosaic floor tiles in keeping with each theme. Suspended ceilings and indirect lighting provide additional comfort in the grottos and bathing hall.
A second attraction was added after the redevelopment of the adventure area on the south side of the pool in the form of a slide tower with two slides. A 4-storey staircase leads to the starting points of the two slide tubes – a turbo slide approximately 68 metres long and a normal slide approximately 110 metres in length. The staircase is generously glazed to the north and south, offering views into the surrounding landscape and the bathing hall. The slide tower is accessed from the bathing hall with a further entrance through the south external glass façade. From here a connecting route in the outer positions will lead to the planned outdoor pool.
