The Stuttgart Geroksruhe Tennis Club is one of the oldest tennis clubs in Stuttgart. Part of the facility, which is surrounded by woods, is the clubhouse with gastronomy. To create a contemporary setting, the club building was redesigned and the interior was given new surfaces. In particular, the new suspended ceiling in wood panel look, which also covers the counter element, gives the guest room a warm and friendly atmosphere and also good acoustics. As far as possible, existing materials were retained and only given a new coat of paint. Some of the furniture was also reused. In combination with new surfaces and other design elements such as the luminaires, the clubhouse has a modern look – and at the same time does justice to the idea of re-use.
