In the award procedure for the youth leisure facility Geschwister Scholl Haus in Berlin-Spandau, 4a Architekten was awarded the contract in a consortium with thoma architekten from Berlin. Working closely together, the consortium deliberately developed a new building in order to optimally fulfill the diverse functional requirements and create a sustainable, architecturally high-quality building. The new youth center is divided into three areas: A central foyer, a flexible event area and a building section for functional rooms - a structure that supports communication and community. The supporting structure is a timber hybrid construction. In the planning, our focus is on reduced energy consumption, the use of renewable energy sources and sustainable materials - a contribution to climate-friendly construction and the future of the next generation.

We are delighted to be realizing this project together with Thoma Architekten, creating a place that combines community and future.
