‘Swimming pools in transition: politics, energy, atmosphere and added value’ - this is the motto of this year's IAKS conference on swimming pools on 12 September in Koblenz. One of the speakers and pool experts will be 4a Managing Director Ulle Tillmanns. He has been an active member of the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities (IAKS) for many years. In his presentation, he will focus on the important aspect of ATMOSPHERE in swimming pools - and how good architecture can be realised even with limited budgets in municipalities. After all, atmosphere is extremely important for the acceptance of a swimming pool and therefore has a significant influence on its cost-effectiveness.
