At the Iconic Awards for Innovative Architecture 2021 , two refurbishments by 4a Architekten convinced the jury this year. In the "Architecture" category, the Mineralbad Berg was awarded Winner , while the Badepark Vitalbad Kusel received the Selection award.

The ICONIC Award: Innovative Architecture, established by the German Design Council, is the first independent international architecture and design competition that focuses on the interaction between different disciplines. It honours visionary buildings, innovative products and sustainable communication in the fields of architecture, construction, real estate and manufacturing.
