After several years of planning and construction, the new Salinarium Bad Dürkheim Therme was officially opened on November 19, 2025. The architectural design of the thermal baths, which was built around the existing Salinarium leisure pool, bears the atmospheric signature of 4a Architekten and sets a strong example for modern health and leisure architecture in Rhineland-Palatinate. The architecture reflects the calm character of the spa gardens and translates it into a modern and elegant wellness landscape characterized by openness, warm materials, and clean lines. “Our goal was to create a place that harmoniously combines tranquility, closeness to nature, and contemporary comfort,” says Ernst Ulrich Tillmanns of 4a Architekten.
