The aquatic centre in Offenburg is approaching its next milestone in the form of its topping-out ceremony on July 6th. Along with the work on the building shell for the sauna wing and summer changing room, steel construction work is now also in full swing. The supporting steel structure for the sports pool and adventure pool areas is almost complete. The City Councillor for Building and Construction, Oliver Martini, is extremely pleased with progress so far: “The volume is now truly visible”. The new aquatic centre is entirely the creation of 4a: The centre was designed and planned by 4a Architekten, while 4a Baumanagement was entrusted with the construction and supervision of the building.
