4a Architekten have been selected to design a combined gymnasium and indoor swimming pool in Kall through a competitive procurement process.

The project responds to the loss of the existing indoor pool in the 2021 flood. The proposal brings together a single-court gymnasium and a 25-meter indoor pool in a compact, integrated building. By consolidating functions and infrastructure, the design aims to create operational efficiencies while reducing the building’s environmental footprint.

Conceived as a resource-efficient and economically viable solution, the project explores prefabrication and modular construction methods to streamline delivery and ensure long-term performance.
